Knockdown Texture

KOLIR LTD provides knockdown ceiling texture in Calgary and surrounding areas. This finish uses sprayed texture that is lightly flattened to create a distinctive pattern with a lower profile than popcorn texture.

New Ceilings and Renovations

Knockdown can be applied to suitable new or prepared existing ceilings. The surface must be properly finished first; texture is not a substitute for repairing damaged board, loose material or significant unevenness.

For repair work, we assess the existing pattern and aim for the closest practical match. Age, application method and paint can affect the result, so a seamless match cannot always be achieved. Priming and painting are confirmed separately in the estimate.
